Thirty three

As the clock struck twelve from the corner of my eye something caught my attention. A bunch of white balloons glided swiftly up past the buildings of Chinatown, up up and up until they were just a ghostly presence and then nothing, nothing in the inky blackness of the night.

Happy birthday for the 9th. Sorry I did not text ~ realised when I went to text you that you would have a new mobile no. by now.
Hope new life in Oz is going well for you. Not sure if I approve of the new habits (or have you been a closet smoker for a while).
Timothy has asked to come visit you…..but a bit hard now that we can’t just drive over. Any luck with job hunting yet? I guess if a read your blog it would have something in there…..have just looked at photos this time 😎

    Lot of love Lorely
